Terms

Terms of use

Written in plain language, like everything else THIQL publishes.

The short version
  • The assessment is free to take, and your results are yours to use inside your organization.
  • The instrument itself — the questions, the maturity ladders, the scoring model, the diagnosis texts — is THIQL's intellectual property.
  • Published findings may be quoted with attribution and a link.
  • Results are self-assessed research diagnostics: not an audit, not a certification, not professional advice.

What THIQL is

THIQL is an independent Saudi research initiative on strategic risk and resilience. It publishes research and research products; it does not provide consulting, audit or assurance services through this site.

What you may do

You may take the assessment, use your results and share them inside your organization, and quote THIQL's published findings with attribution (“THIQL, thiql.co”) and a link where practical.

What is protected

The THIQL instrument and everything around it — the questions and their Arabic and English wording, the five-level maturity ladders, the scoring model, the diagnosis and recommendation texts, the reports, the visual identity, and the name and mark ثقل · THIQL (the subject of a trademark application before the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property) — are THIQL's intellectual property. Reproducing the instrument, offering it or a derivative of it as your own assessment, extracting its content by automated means, or using any of it commercially requires THIQL's prior written permission: [email protected]. Asking is easy and answers are quick.

What the results are, and are not

Your result is a research diagnostic built on your own answers: an honest snapshot of where your organization stands at a moment in time. It is not an audit, not a certification, not assurance, and not legal, financial or regulatory advice. Decisions built on a result remain the responsibility of the organization that takes them.

The site

The site is provided as it is, with no promise of uninterrupted availability, and its content may change or pause at any time. It sets no cookies; how data is handled is described on the Privacy page. To the extent Saudi law permits, THIQL accepts no liability for loss arising from use of the site or from reliance on its free research outputs.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and any dispute concerning them belongs to the competent judicial authorities of the Kingdom.
